Yesterday, I spoke at the Golden Valley Christian Church. It was the first week of a stint as their interim preacher while they search for a new minister. It was such a fun and delightful morning meeting the friendly people in Clinton, MO!
It reminds me of a truth I have seen many times in visiting churches in different places, cultures and countries over the years. The followers of Jesus are a community. The unity we share is real and transcends race, language and culture. You feel it when meeting Christians for the first time. In such a divided world, this friendship and community is so refreshing!
